Leading with science
Driven by a vision
Science is the backbone of InsideTracker, and it’s where our story begins. In 2009, Gil Blander, PhD., an expert in longevity and biometric data, founded the company alongside esteemed colleagues in nutrition, genetics, and medicine, from Harvard, MIT, and Tufts.
Dr. Blander’s drive to help people live better and ultimately, age better, was inspired by a deeply personal experience. At a young age, he was stunned by the early death of a family member. His commitment to advance the field of human longevity was made there and then. Working alongside some of the world leaders in aging research, such as MIT biologist Dr. Leonard Guarente and Harvard geneticist Dr. David Sinclair, the idea for an automated, algorithm-based personalized nutrition and lifestyle platform was born and refined.
InsideTracker is founded on the idea that combining rigorous, peer-reviewed science with cutting edge technology and the creative power of great human minds, can result in great advances for human well-being and performance.
The proof is in the data.

We harness the power of Big Data to make user data more meaningful and actionable. The expert, automated engine that drives the InsideTracker platform is continually reevaluated and refined by our scientists and technologists. Using relevant information from current scientific literature and deep bioinformatic analysis, our engine generates a vast array of potential nutrition, supplement, fitness and lifestyle interventions customized to each individual user of the InsideTracker platform.
